Late Night Run to the Royal

At 9. 15 pm the "out-of-hours" doctor phoned to say Macfarlane's warfarin level was critically high. This was according to the blood test Pauline had extracted around mid - day. A visit to hospital was deemed essential and at 10.30. he was taken by ambulance to the Edinburgh Royal.
I left him there around 1.00 am. He was very weary, but comfortable. He's on a drip to re-balance his blood and diminish the danger of brain haemorage. The prognosis appears positive but we'll have a better picture in the morning when I expect to take him home.

Hi Dougie and Mags,

A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.

I have not visited this site since Helen's 30th posting.

Being a mummy of a vey active 10 month old baby leaves me little time to spare.

Sarah has taken her first few steps on new year's day but still resorts to crawling - so impatient she is.

Will email you photos of my wee tyke ok.

Hugs and kisses to you both from Sarah and I.

I dreamt of you too last night. You and Dan were making breakfast for loads of people in a kind of soup kitchen way. Your kindness and hospitality is in my subconscious. I'm glad you're enjoying Granny Jean's soup and that she's strong enough to be back in the kitchen nurturing her loved ones nutritionally. If there is anything I can do, let me know. I'm only doon the road (includes taxi service). Lots of love, Louise xxxx

OOps, just realised I've spelt 'two' wrongly! What a nut! Not quite with it. Must need to go back to work. No, I know you didn't dream of me! This is getting complicated. Bye for now. PS. I did tell Bobby to jump in the boot of the car the other day when I hadn't managed to open it. Poor thing had a head on collison with the back window. Oh dear.
