Weather Report

The Indian Summer that has brought us beautiful mild days and starry skies has deserted us tonight. Strident northerly winds have brought lashing rain and biting cold - a foretaste redolent with Winter bitterest charms. A slight shiver has reminded us of our vulnerability.
Mum and Macfarlane are feeling the chill. The rain could clear in the next day or two, but temperatures will worsen, we are told. Time to light the chiminea, maybe.

hi, thanks for the supper this evening, most enjoyable. Thank heavens for the MacFarlane Quisine with the help of Lidls and Aldi`s. The sausage and chicken hotpot was delicious even without the tatties falling and the bread not rising! Pity about no pudding. Stolen cake tasty. Fiona says thanks for the bag of laughs.Maybe we should borrow it for Jeannie then again maybe not to soon. Hopefully she will be smiling tomorrow.
See you both soon. Good night.
